I just saw that there is still the problem of the blog

if I take an existing article and duplicate it, there is no problem

The layout wants a readmore in the article. You can see an example in one of the other articles.
If the readmore is inserted it will display properly. The whole blog layout is something we are fighting with to make it work proper.
